What is the European Accessibility Act?

The European Accessibility Act (EAA) requires many products and services sold in the EU to be accessible to people with disabilities. For websites that sell, book, quote, register, or take payments online, this means transaction flows like checkout, booking, ticketing, and enrollment need to be usable by everyone — including people using screen readers, keyboard navigation, or other assistive technology.
