1. Agreement
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of complypages.com and ComplyPages services.
ComplyPages is operated by Bobook Limited, Venture Hub, 136 Capel Street, Dublin 1, D01 T2C9, Ireland.
By accessing the website, requesting a snapshot, using a report, purchasing a service, or otherwise engaging with ComplyPages, you agree to these Terms.
If you use ComplyPages on behalf of an organisation, you confirm that you have authority to bind that organisation to these Terms.
2. Services
ComplyPages provides practical accessibility QA and EAA-readiness support for public website transaction flows.
Services may include:
- Free EAA accessibility snapshots;
- Developer-ready fix packs;
- Public-flow accessibility reviews;
- Screenshots and issue documentation;
- Suggested fixes and acceptance criteria;
- Retesting after client implementation;
- Transaction-flow monitoring;
- Reports, exports, and related support.
The exact scope of any paid service will be described in the applicable order, proposal, statement of work, checkout page, email confirmation, or written agreement.
3. Business use
ComplyPages is intended for business and professional use. It is not intended for consumer, household, emergency, safety-critical, medical, or critical infrastructure use.
4. No legal advice or certification
ComplyPages does not provide legal advice, legal opinions, certification, or guarantees of legal compliance.
Reports, snapshots, recommendations, and website content are practical accessibility QA materials. They are not a substitute for legal advice, a full manual accessibility audit, procurement certification, or regulatory assessment.
For more information, see our Legal Disclaimer at /legal/disclaimer.
5. Client responsibilities
You are responsible for:
- Providing accurate information;
- Having authority to request a review of the relevant website or flow;
- Reviewing reports before acting on them;
- Deciding whether and how to implement recommendations;
- Testing changes before and after deployment;
- Managing your developers, agencies, suppliers, and third-party platforms;
- Maintaining accessibility over time;
- Obtaining legal, accessibility, technical, or professional advice where needed.
You remain responsible for your website, content, services, users, legal obligations, and business decisions.
6. Safe scanning
ComplyPages is designed to review public website flows using safe methods.
Unless separately agreed, we do not:
- Bypass authentication, paywalls, or CAPTCHA;
- Access private admin systems;
- Make real purchases;
- Submit sensitive or record-creating forms;
- Exploit vulnerabilities;
- Perform penetration testing;
- Modify your website or systems.
You agree not to use ComplyPages to scan websites or systems that you are not authorised to assess.
For more information, see our Scanner Ethics Policy at /legal/scanner-ethics.
7. Free snapshots
A free snapshot is a limited, introductory review. It may include a small number of visible observations from one public website flow.
A free snapshot is not a full audit, legal assessment, certification, or guarantee that additional issues do not exist.
We may refuse, limit, or decline a free snapshot at our discretion, including for technical, ethical, security, abuse-prevention, or capacity reasons.
8. Paid services
Paid services may be provided under a proposal, invoice, subscription, order form, email confirmation, statement of work, or separate agreement.
Unless otherwise agreed:
- Fees are due as stated in the applicable invoice or order;
- Taxes, VAT, or similar charges may apply;
- Work may begin after payment or written confirmation;
- Late payments may result in suspension of service;
- Fees are non-refundable once work has started, except where required by law or agreed in writing.
9. Retesting
If retesting is included, we will retest the specific findings or flow states described in the applicable report or order.
Retesting does not guarantee full compliance, absence of other issues, or future non-regression.
10. Monitoring
If monitoring is included, we will review selected flows at agreed intervals or using agreed triggers.
Monitoring is limited to the selected scope and may not detect every issue, change, outage, regression, or accessibility barrier.
11. Client materials and website content
You retain ownership of your website, brand, content, and materials.
You grant ComplyPages a limited right to access, view, capture, process, and document relevant public website content solely to provide the requested services, generate reports, perform retests, monitor selected flows, and maintain service records.
12. ComplyPages materials
ComplyPages retains ownership of its website, software, methods, templates, report formats, documentation structure, know-how, brand, and service materials.
Subject to payment and these Terms, you may use ComplyPages reports internally for your organisation and share them with your developers, agencies, suppliers, legal advisers, or accessibility consultants for the purpose of reviewing and improving the relevant website.
You may not resell, white-label, publish, or redistribute ComplyPages reports as your own service unless we agree in writing.
13. Confidentiality
If either party receives non-public business information from the other, it must use reasonable care to protect that information and use it only for the purpose of the relationship.
This does not apply to information that is publicly available, independently developed, lawfully received from another source, or required to be disclosed by law.
14. Data protection
Our processing of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy at /privacy.
Where ComplyPages processes personal data on behalf of a customer as a processor, our Data Processing Addendum at /legal/data-processing-addendum may apply if incorporated into the relevant agreement or otherwise agreed in writing.
15. Acceptable use
You must not:
- Use ComplyPages unlawfully;
- Request scans of websites you are not authorised to assess;
- Use ComplyPages for harassment, abuse, surveillance, scraping for unrelated purposes, or competitive misuse;
- Attempt to interfere with the website or service;

- Upload malicious code;
- Misrepresent reports or imply legal certification where none is provided.
16. Service availability
We aim to provide a useful and reliable service, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, or that all features will always be available.
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of the service where necessary.
17. Warranties disclaimer
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ComplyPages services and website content are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.
We disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, uninterrupted operation, and error-free performance, except where such warranties cannot be excluded under applicable law.
18. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ComplyPages and Bobook Limited will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or exemplary damages, including loss of profits, revenue, business, goodwill, data, or regulatory penalties.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, our total liability for any claim relating to paid services is limited to the fees paid by the customer to ComplyPages for the specific service giving rise to the claim during the three months before the event giving rise to liability.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
19. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless ComplyPages and Bobook Limited from claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses arising from:
- Your misuse of the service;
- Your breach of these Terms;
- Your unauthorised request to review a third-party website;
- Your website, content, services, or implementation decisions;
- Your violation of law or third-party rights.
20. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access to ComplyPages if you breach these Terms, fail to pay fees, misuse the service, create security or legal risk, or request scans outside authorised scope.
You may stop using the service at any time. Termination does not affect payment obligations, confidentiality, data protection, intellectual property, disclaimers, or limitations of liability.
21. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date.
Material changes may be communicated by email or website notice where appropriate.
